友人が去年開店したショップ「LIL'DREYS ♡ DECIDELA」ウェブサイト
ここは、家具やアートや本のセレクトショップ＆カフェです。
ショップに飾られている絵のほとんどは、ショップオーナーのオードリーが描いたもの。
そして、南アフリカのアーティストたちが作った、ワイヤーやビーズのアートなども置いてあります。
このお店のユニークな点は、
子供のためのワークショップ、お誕生日会、大人のための各種講座、パーティー、ライブイベントなど、様々な企画を行っているところ。
また、地元のアーティストたちに、オープンスペースの貸し出しもしています。
生活に必要だと思ったこと、やってみたら楽しそうなこと、それらをどんどん形にしていくクリエイティブな場所。
そんなスペースで、今後の将来を担う子供たちが、のびのびと絵を描く姿、集中してモザイクアートを仕上げている姿を見ると、
人間一人一人に、無限の才能が秘められているのを再確認させられます。
お店では、随時ワークショップの募集していますので、

What you need for your life?
I have been feeling there are many possibilities in Cape town these days.
In the last year, my friends opened a shop with a cafe called LIL'DREYS DECIDELA which has best selections of funitures, art, crafts and books.

They used a 350 sq metre warehouse and they created it into their original world.
Many of the artworks in the shop that you will see on the website were painted by shop's owner Audrey.
And also by many of the children who come to do activities in the creative space.
In addiion, there are very interesting wire crafts and beads crafts which have been created by local artists.
These are works of art we would love in Japan.
The most unique point of the shop is that they organize workshops and original birthday parties for children,
wine and cheese evenings workshops and parties for Adult people, live music events etc...
Having ideas about life, having ideas for fun is a continuation and should never stop!
Anyone can start to create something from their own ideas.
When I see children at LIL'DREYS, I feel sure that all of them have plenty of possibilities and talent.
LIL'DREYS is always welcome for workshop ideas.
